I went over to see the old place
Met Rouland's wife. They are not renting this year
have torn down the old cabins to make way for a home for a daughter
the little white cabins go soon

In the begining we stayed in one of large cabins but when the little ones were built we started staying in them
I remember when 5 of us + Mom and Dad, on the weekends, stayed in these.
1 bedroom, the kitchen/eating area and a toilet & shower
all of the Eckman girls would come to our cabin
instead of going to the common toilet/shower building

Each August it was the ride to Como
The Eckmans had the cabin closest to the lake and we had the next one
the big cabins are all gone now and have been replaced with surveyors sticks
the bird house still stands

the frame for the glider swing is there as is the pier and of course the mud bottom lake

There were NO air-conditioning units in the windows then !!
